I’ve played tuba in nearly every U.S. state and in Mexico. I earned a master’s degree in music performance from Wichita State University in Kansas, where I also studied conducting and music composition.
I was substitute tubist in the Wichita Symphony Orchestra (2005-06) and principal tubist of Wichita Grand Opera (2005-07). I was also a founding member of the Lexington (Missouri) Wind Symphony (2012).
In addition to tuba, I play trombone and euphonium (a small tuba pitched one octave higher). I’m an experienced conductor (working mostly with choral and string/orchestral ensembles) and composer-arranger.
I’m always interested in playing in bands, orchestras and chamber ensembles in the north Texas (greater McKinney) region. I prefer to participate in groups that perform indoors.
Please reach out if you need a tuba player.
